The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) hosted a group of students from the University College of Bahrain to introduce them to the institution's efforts in safeguarding and enhancing human rights within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit also served to highlight the various activities and initiatives the NIHR engages in to foster a culture of human rights throughout the community.

During their visit, Mrs. Fatima Al-Tarif, Head of Training and Education Unit at NIHR, delivered a presentation outlining the institution's responsibilities and goals. The students were guided through the contact and complaints centre, where staff members detailed the process for handling complaints and explained the operational dynamics of the centre. This interactive session allowed the students to pose questions and seek further clarification on the institution's roles and services, for which they showed great appreciation.

The primary objective of this visit was to raise the students' awareness of human rights issues and to motivate them to actively support and propagate humanitarian values within society. It provided them with an opportunity to make a positive impact on the advancement of human rights culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
